"MY NEIGHBOUR’S WHITE HOUSE BOY"(AN INSPIRING ARTICLE)

My neighbor went on a pilgrimage trip to Israel and came home with a teenage Israeli as a house boy, it was strange.. The young man was so handsome and friendly and seemed to have a great relationship with God.

It bothered me that he might not be able to blend in the African setting, so I decided to be friends with him. He was about my age so friendship was easy, unlike other boys, he did not show any sexual interest in me instead during his work free hours, he talked to me about God, his dreams and his vision of becoming a world leader someday. It sounded absurd really, I mean a common house servant, with no hope of education?
With time, he sounded so convincing, I started believing him.
Then, one day, On my way back from school, I saw the Police Van leaving our street and from the way people gathered around, I knew a scene had taken place. I later found out he had been arrested for trying to rape his boss' wife.
"what?! No that can't be true" it took me weeks to cry and reason things out.. I mean, he had started blending with the African way of life and even served so well that he was made the chief servant. How could this be true?

Luckily for me, my Dad has high connections through which I got the number of the Policeman in-charge of the Prison Cell where he was kept. I asked to speak with him and that day turned out to be the most shocking day in my Life's history!

In the morning, I called;
ME: hello, Joseph, I miss you! I have questions to ask but I just wanted to prepare your heart.. I'LL come visit you in the evening with home cooked food.
JOSEPH: I miss you too, I have your answers and I so miss home made food.

In the evening
ME: Hello Joseph, I got this number from the warder, what's happening I'm confused...
JOSEPH: Pharaoh sent for me, suddenly I'm prime minister of Egypt. Empty the food flask, come I'll give you Palace-cooked food.

(whatever chapter you are in your life's story, it might be a rough bend, not the end. GOD WRITES STORIES THAT END IN JOY... Believe Jesus)
