THOUGHTS TO PONDER ON(EXAMINE YOURSELF)

Confrontations in Witnessing: Jesus said we should expect persecution, but that
doesn't always mean beatings and prison. How should we react when persecution
is just confrontations when we're witnessing?
Evangelism is a Joint Effort : Evangelism
isn't solitary work. It requires many believers, obeying God as He leads them
in seemingly small and insignificant tasks.
"Whatever is true...": It is good to expose false-teaching. But there
are better ways to spend our time than condemning every specific error like
some theological whack-a-mole. Focus on what is true.
Sermonizing:
The early
church established sermons as a major way for more educated believers to teach
younger Christ-followers. Sermonizing well takes hard work and help from the
Holy Spirit.
Discipleship Looks Different for Everyone: Jesus called us to go, preach the gospel,
baptize, and make disciples. Sometimes the "make disciples" part
seems too intimidating. What does it really entail?
Gather in His Name: Going to church doesn't make you a Christian
and avoiding a church doesn't make you an unbeliever. But God does give us very
specific instructions to gather together in His name.
The Comfort of Christ : Whatever you're
going through right now, God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all
that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Wow. Did you get that?
The Good Work: Our struggles may be opportunity in disguise Sometimes the Christian life can feel as
frustrating and slow-going as construction season in swamps. But both our
spiritual walk and the orange cones come with the promise that the good work in
us will be completed.
Life in the Fast Lane: All of us are living life in the fast lane. We
meet ourselves coming and going. In all of this hub bub, when was the last time
you heard God speaking to you?
