LIFT UP JESUS CHIRST{FROM THE PASTOR'S DESK}

And I, if I be lifted up from the earth. I will draw all men unto me. John 12 :32.

There is need for Jesus Christ to be lifted up in our lives before we can enjoy His divine grace.

To be lifted up means to be elevated. To be honoured, to be promoted and to be regarded as the most important ones.
Jesus must be lifted up in your life as Christians. Although God has already exalted Him above all, yet you and I must know Him as Lord over all affairs of our lives. Phil 2:9-11.
Many see themselves as the great one, rather than lifting all things.
John the Baptist was a good example when he said, “I am not Christ”. John 1:20.
If people wants to lift you up above Christ, better confess that ”I am not Christ”, let Christ be lifted up.
Let all power, authourity, dominion and praise be given to Chist.
This is the secret of your success as you are going in the journey of your life.
Lift up Jesus and He will draw you near unto himself.
With Him, you are delivered from the wicked, the unrighteous and cruel ones. You will call on Him for deliverance and He will answer you. Your word of motto is “Deliver me, oh my God”. And he will deliver you in Jesus name, amen.

           God as a self-sufficient one is able to grant to His children more than what is requested from him. “God gives than our request”.  God is described as one who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think. As OMNISCIENT (ALL KNOWING) GOD, He did not only know your heart but also what you are thinking and even what you did not think or imagine. Our heart as human is too narrow to comprehend the whole wisdom and knowledge of God i.e. you cannot know all what God is able to do in your life because He is unlimited by space and power. God blessings to His people are overflowing ones. We only ask for what we want from God in prayers, but God will give what we need, because our wants may sometimes not be our needs, but He alone knows our needs. THIRSTING AFTER THE RIGHEOUSNESS { A RESOLUTION}

The world is fast running to an end as the second coming our Lord Jesus Christ draws nearer than hitherto. The frequency of disasters in the world apart from what we are experiencing in our own country, Nigeria indicates more the imminence of His Second Coming {Rev 22:7,12} The clarion call is becoming more strident on daily basis as the value placed on human life diminishes through mass deaths resultant from Government actions or inaction, religious and tribal strife as well as man-made disasters. WHAT IS RIGHTEOUSNESS? The Bible says righteousness exalts a Nation while unrighteousness is a reproach which incurs the wrath of God.{Prov 14:34} Righteousness is therefore staying on the right side of God, that is abiding and complying with the commandments{ in Exodus 20:1-17, Deut 6:1-5}. .
